Here sits a variable list of our single song releases. Profit from songs listed here goes to organizations fighting for social or environmental justice.
Who made the bumper sticker long ago that said, “If you aren’t part of the solution, you’re part of the problem”? I dunno, but heroic historian Howard Zinn implored people to, if you can’t give your whole life, then at least contribute some to making the world better. We take so much for granted that people fought and died for in this country, e.g. voting rights, safe drinking water, clean air, a minimum wage, the concept of a weekend, an 8-hr workday, freedom from slavery, and any freedom that we have. We’ve already lost ground on these items of progress. Use your reason and see where we’re headed with our worsening state of extreme un-regulated capitalism, positions of unlimited power and no accountability, and a wide-open resurgence of violent white supremacists.
Brave Enough to Dream – Dec. 2020 –
My Revolutionary – Nov. 2020 –
Not About Freedom – Aug. 2020 –
Denial Kills – July 2020 –
As of Dec. 2020, we have a very limited edition (five total copies in the world) available of our first 7″ 45 rpm record. A-side is our single ‘Denial Kills‘ and B-side is our single ‘Not About Freedom‘. We are doing something special with each copy of this record. One copy is being entered into our silent auction. We will donate the winning bid to Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement. Auction ends 1/31/2021 after which the winner can pay via paypal and the record will be shipped for free to any U.S. address. To bid on the record, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org with the word ‘auction’ in the subject and list your offer. The inner sleeve will by default be left blank, but if you’d like us to decorate it with love notes just let us know in your email.
Once a day the current highest bid will be posted right here. The winner will receive the record, a copy of the donation receipt, free downloads of each of our first three albums, and the satisfaction of having donated to a good cause.
Are you wondering what we’re doing with the other rare copies of this record? In downtown Athens, GA, you can find one copy at Low Yo Yo Stuff Records and another copy at Wuxtry Records-Athens. Both of those sales are also being donated to Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement. Another copy will be offered in an Athens nonprofit’s holiday or other fundraising auction — which one is pending, so if you are hosting one then feel free to let us know.
